Demonstrators and Used Scooters

We generally have one of each model available for test drives - these are demonstrators. At the close of a season, we have models left on the floor that have not been sold. Occasionally we have a model out on loan that comes back at the end of the season- this would be a used unit.

When we sell a demonstrator or one of last year's models, our policy is to install new batteries so that the customer begins with fresh batteries that we can confidently warranty. As an added incentive for 2011 to help us clear out our current stock, we are installing a very high quality Extended Run Vehicle Battery by CSB. While the original Motorino batteries are rated at 20 Amp/hours, these CSB batteries offer 24 Amp/hours while fitting into the existing battery box on the Motorino scooters. This should extend the scooter's range by roughly 20%.

For used scooters, we will also install the high quality CSB 24 Amp/hour batteries, but, of course, the scooter has some mileage on it, so one can expect some wear on the tires and brake parts. However, they still represent very good value, and you will find replacement parts, in the event that you need any, are very reasonably priced. Tires are quite a common size and can be bought from us or other vendors here in Winnipeg.
